One Day Tours - Begining and ending in Florence

We meet you at your Hotel, in Florence, and drive east to meet the winemaker, Luigi Donato. Best described as an Expert Gardner, Winemaker and Professor, he grows the ultra rare Pulignano. A clone of Sangiovese, and it only grows on their hill! The botanical garden and historical estate of Bibbiani, are amazing gems. See a catalog of rare and fantastic trees, as we tour the grounds, the cellars, and taste the wines.

We continue our adventure south to the Chianti where we find ourselves at Podere Ciona, deep in the heart of this region. A large estate amongst the olive trees and vineyards. We arrive just in time for a lite lunch and a tasting of the families Super Tuscans. After our tasting, we take a beautiful hike through the countryside, where vineyards dot the land for as far as the eye can see. Relax and enjoy this lovely estate.

Here, our tour ends, in Montevarchi where we can take time to visit the Prada Outlet, if you like. After, you are escorted onto your train for your short ride back to the renaissance city of Florence where you can make plans for dinner, if you can find room, as you continue, or bring to an end, your fabulous holiday.

This is an ideal de"tour" to plan if you are spending several days in Florence.

Policy/Procedure

Groups are counted and pay as a whole. If you are a couple, and 6 others are joining the group, you will be counted as a group of 8, and therefore paying prices listed. If you are one person, and 4 people join the group, you will pay as a group of 5. We will try to fill your group, because we like happy, smiling clients! Unless you prefer to have a private tour, then please let us know. Otherwise, payment as listed below. (we accept cash/check or wire transfer).

  • 3 persons pay 400.00 Euro. (135.00 Euro each)
  • 4 persons pay 500.00 Euro. (125.00 Euro each)
  • 5 persons pay 500.00 Euro. (100.00 Euro each)
  • 6 persons pay 600.00 Euro. (100.00 Euro each)
  • 7 persons pay 700.00 Euro. (100.00 Euro each)
  • 8 persons pay 800.00 Euro. (100.00 Euro each)

If you would like to use your own car/guide, we will make the arrangements to the Vineyards you would like to visit, to make your outing enjoyable and welcoming, which will still include tours, wine tastings, and antipasti where mentioned at the estates.

If you do not have a car, our guides supply transportation in a "Small Vineyards" car, and for 6-8 persons, a van is supplied.

Payment is required to hold your reservation:
Full refund 30 days prior to tour.
50% refund 15 - 29 days prior to tour.
25% refund 14 - 1 days prior to tour.
