One Day Tours - Begining and ending in Gaiole

A scenic stroll through ancient vineyards and age-old Olive trees on the romantic strade bianche, or white roads. Beginning in Gaiole, we start out to the Pieve di Spaltenna, the romanesque abbey of Etruscan origin, along footpaths that deliver dramatic views and landscapes. Then, onto Meleto castle, built in the XII century by the Ricasoli family. Take in views of the Castello di Brolio, the areas most famous castle, and where 'Chianti Classico' was developed. Continuing to the top of the hill, we take a break, and enjoy a caffe, or perhaps a glass of Chianti, or bubbling water, as we take in breath-taking views. After passing river and vineyard and the medieval castle of Barbischio, we arrive in Gaiole. From here we take a short drive to Radda in Chianti to be rewarded with a typical Tuscan meal, and a tasting of our wines from our Small Vineyard Producers.

Policy/Procedure

Groups are counted and pay as a whole. If you are a couple, and 6 others are joining the group, you will be counted as a group of 8, and therefore paying prices listed. If you are one person, and 4 people join the group, you will pay as a group of 5. We will try to fill your group, because we like happy, smiling clients! Unless you prefer to have a private tour, then please let us know. Otherwise, payment as listed below. (we accept cash/check or wire transfer).

  • Per couple pays 300.00 Euro. (150.00 Euro each)
  • 3 persons pay 400.00 Euro. (135.00 Euro each)
  • 4 persons pay 500.00 Euro. (125.00 Euro each)
  • 5 persons pay 500.00 Euro. (100.00 Euro each)
  • 6 persons pay 600.00 Euro. (100.00 Euro each)
  • 7 persons pay 700.00 Euro. (100.00 Euro each)
  • 8 persons pay 800.00 Euro. (100.00 Euro each)

If you would like to use your own car/guide, we will make the arrangements to the Vineyards you would like to visit, to make your outing enjoyable and welcoming, which will still include tours, wine tastings, and antipasti where mentioned at the estates.

If you do not have a car, our guides supply transportation in a "Small Vineyards" car, and for 6-8 persons, a van is supplied.

Payment is required to hold your reservation:
Full refund 30 days prior to tour.
50% refund 15 - 29 days prior to tour.
25% refund 14 - 1 days prior to tour.
